FAMCO leads the MENA market for UAE at annual VISTA Awards
FAMCO’s Truck and Bus aftersales division participated in the Volvo International Service Training Award (VISTA), which is a competence development and brand experience activity in the form of a worldwide competition that recognises Volvo aftersales representatives who face their customers on a daily basis.
Held bi-annually within Volvo Trucks and Buses, the event has a strong heritage for almost 40 years internationally. The VISTA training covers technical and commercial areas of the aftermarket business, including awareness of the Volvo brand. The fundamentals of VISTA are to find, gather and interpret information and to transform it into skills and knowledge through teamwork, thereby solving theoretical and practical tasks to reach the ultimate in customer satisfaction.
This training enables all competing participants to develop their own competence and team spirit whilst competing with fellow colleagues in the industry. The competition is only open to employees of authorised Volvo dealers and workshops. This year’s event included 88 participants making up a total of 23 teams. The UAE is leading the market along with Iran with FAMCO’s Truck and Bus aftersales division being the only team in the UAE with 100 per cent correct answers.
